About the project
Construction of 6 Unit complex to Martin Terrace, Katherine East. Works comprised of structural elements including block-work walls, steel trusses, iron roofing, and also included hydraulic, electrical, plastering, tiling and joinery. External works included concreting to driveways and common areas, and extensive landscaping and reticulation to the complex.
The Client wanted to achieve a quality project, within tight timeframes, to budget, while contractors undertook works safely onsite and engaged local employment with a strong focus in engaging indigenous employees. SH Build delivered on all achievements.
Our Solution
SH Build completed works within tight timeframes to meet The Department of Housing schedule.
The site was audited and met all of the clients safety requirements.
All works were completed to the highest quality standards exceeding the customers expectations.
SH Build engaged 19 Indigenous Employees on this contract and 7 apprentices and trainees. We engaged local businesses and service providers including 1 major Indigenous service provider.
