Following the devastating Cyclone Lam SH Build was awarded the contract for cyclone cleanup works to Ramingining School. With 20 workers hitting the ground within 48 hours of contract award including carpenters, plumbers, labourers, electricians, asbestos removalists and tree loppers SH Build cemented their reputation as a reliable, hardworking contractor of choice.
"SH Build has always maintained the timing on projects, a recent example the Cyclone Lam recovery works, we asked SH Build to mobilise to a remote location with very little understanding of the project requirement, they did this immediately. We estimated that two months would be required to complete the phase one works, SH Build completed all works within 6 weeks. SH Build completed phase 1 works within 6 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
Safe working processes were carried out at all times onsite with comments received by the client that our safety systems where above and beyond their expectations.
All works were completed to the highest quality standards exceeding the customers expectations.
SH Build engaged 12 Indigenous Employees on this contract 8 of which were local Ramingining workers engaged through the RJCP, 5 apprentices across all trades including indigenous apprentices.
