Project Overview

The Buley Rockhole Tour Bus Carpark project involved the construction of a new sealed carpark within Litchfield National Park, approximately 100 kilometres south of Darwin, to improve coach access at one of the Northern Territory’s busiest tourist destinations. Works included earthworks and site preparation, full pavement construction, asphalt surfacing, kerbing, line marking and associated drainage works, delivered in close coordination with NT Parks and Wildlife.

The project achieved strong outcomes in Indigenous worker engagement and local industry participation, with all subcontractors and suppliers engaged being Northern Territory based companies. SH Build worked closely with the client, National Parks and the local community to deliver a high-quality outcome while meeting all contract quality and inspection requirements throughout the project.
