Remote Community Housing
Proven remote capability & Indigenous engagement
Remote specialist
Building in remote communities takes more than construction know-how. We’ve delivered housing across some of the Territory’s most isolated locations and good planning, strong relationships and respect for Country are what make it work.
What We Do
Remote construction projects build capacity and access in communities, making a tangible impact. It’s the work we love to do.
Working across some of the Territory’s most remote locations. From Arnhem Land to the Tiwi Islands and beyond SH Build has developed the specialist knowledge, logistics capability and community relationships that make remote housing delivery possible.
Every home we build is more than shelter. It’s improved health outcomes, stronger families and a community better equipped for the future. We approach each project with deep respect for the people who will call these places home, building strong relationships with community councils and elders from the outset.
Our remote capability is backed by our own logistics fleet, on-site concrete batching and rigorous contingency planning that accounts for the Territory’s unique challenges.
We’re proud of the track record we’ve built across communities including Minjilang, Warruwi, Nauiyu, Peppimenarti, Palumpa and Nhulunbuy. And we’re always looking for the next opportunity to make a difference.
